Brandon Beer Festival

We are delighted to announce our first beer festival of 2016. The Brandon Beer Festival is from Thursday 4th February to Sunday 7th February. There will be over 60 beers across three pubs - the Hope & Anchor, The Eldon House and Bag of Nails.

You will find 20+ beers at the Hope from areas affected by flooding to support their local economy with 10p per pint going to flood charities.

For those visiting us at the Hope, on Friday and Saturday there will be Live Music and a roaming magician, ‘Meet the brewer’ and kitchen takeover from Feastie Boys.

If we haven’t tempted you enough yet, on Sunday we will have our usual famously tasty roasts and the World’s Biggest Pub Quiz at 7.30pm raising money for Mind.

We very much look forward to seeing you for a fun filled weekend, starting on Thursday!

New Year’s Eve at the Hope and Volly

So, what are you doing for New Year’s Eve this year? Perhaps we can help you?

I know we are biased, but we think we have an extraordinary menu ready for New Year’s Eve - take a peek here. And we have FIVE courses on offer of pure deliciousness plus live music afterwards and, of course, free entry for all and lots of great company.

If you are in the Clifton area - near the Triangle - on New Year’s Eve then come and visit us at the Hope & Anchor.

Or, if you are in the Cabot Circus area, then why not visit our sister pub, the Volunteer Tavern where you can enjoy the same menu and great atmosphere. Both pubs have large gardens. What more do you need on a New Year’s Eve?

If you would like to join our party, then please do give us a call as soon as possible as we would love to have you at either venue and can assure you that we will do our best to make your night memorable - for all the right reasons.

What about Christmas?

But if we are thinking too far ahead and you haven’t got a plan for Christmas, please check out our Christmas menu too - but be advised - book as soon as you can as we have many bookings already and we wouldn’t want to disappoint you.
